How does bluetooth audio sound on the Burmester audio system?

Yeah, If you bought it and your payments were 450, then someone at Mercedes is getting fired.

But to answer your question, The blue tooth audio sounds good when your streaming pandora or another streaming music service. If you try to play youtube videos, then the sound quality goes way down.

 

yeah its leased. I think it's a pretty good deal. Very excited, can't wait for tonight. Should be good weather in NYC for driving tonight. Going to get some tints this weekend, debating about tinting the chrome on windows and grill.

 

I personally wanted to wrap all the chrome ascents and trim with black gloss 3M wrap and change the exterior mirror covers to black. The price to wrap the exterior mirrors was close to or the same price as buying the Original part. I also wanted to change the rims to 19 inch black gloss to finish it all off.
I'm still in my 20s, I dont care what most of the older Mercedes drivers say about altering the car, but I came to a realization that I'm cheap (to a degree) and dont want to spend close to $2,000 on a car that does not need it. If I end up keeping the car for longer than 4 years, I may end up having to spend $2,000 on the car just in maintenance, something I do need.

So here it is. Getting tints on Friday, thinking 35% on all windows and something darker on rear windshield. Will post better pics after tints are done. Loved driving it around last night. I have to get used to the sport suspension....

lol no, it was double parked when it was delivered to me last night. Got quoted $200 for all windows. So 35 on windows, 15 on back? Don't want to get harassed by the NYPD...

 

Well as you know ANY tint on ANY window EXCEPT for the back windshield is illegal in NY so it doesn't matter you will be harassed. It's a fix it ticket so gotta pay to play.

Can you tell me where in NYC are you getting it tinted? If it's $200 for the entire car I might try to get mine tinted.

Does the shop also get you a script from a doctor for the tint?

Coz from Jan 2017, even rear windows can't be tinted per NY State law.

So I looked into this after you posted and now it's required by law for your windows tint to be inspected to pass inspection. Not a big deal and most places will just PASS you for inspection purposes, just slide the person a $20 and be done with it.

 

Wow... thats crazy about tints on rear.... I have a friend who is in the process of getting me a script. Also a friend is doing my tints so thats why its 200. Not sure how much it would be for someone else. Gonna go tomorrow to get it done.

 

Just read the NYC law, you can have tints on back " This law also applies to the rear window unless the vehicle has outside rear-view mirrors on both sides.
The mirrors must give the driver a full and clear view behind the vehicle."

Outside rear-view mirrors are just the side mirrors, right?
