Where's the wash liquid reservoir?

Hi

I'm having issues with the windscreen washer. When the button is pressed, no fluid gets pumped out but the wiper still activates. I want to check the reservoir level, but where's the reservoir? I can find the opening, but much of the parts seem to be covered up.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

I believe I did. The wiper activated though - just not the washer. I doubt the reservoir is already dried up since I've only used three times since I got the car.

press the button a little activates the wiper, press it harder it activates washer and wiper.

If wipers were low on fluid you would get a message on the dash.

This happen to me also when I first got my car. I ended up down at the dealership and one of the Tech showed me that I had to push harder. That was embarrassing.

Woman I know brought car into gas station and had attendant fill the washer canister. Later she went to use it and nothing came out. She brought to dealer. He said there is nothing in it. Found out the gas station guy filled the hydraulics canister with washer fluid. Looked like a slurpee in canister. Cost her about $8,000 to flush out and replace almost everything that used the hydraulics. Be careful what you fill up.

I had the same issue shortly after taking delivery. It turned out the washer pump had failed and needed to be replaced.

Took me a few minutes to figure it out also. I was too embarrassed to go to the dealer so opened up the hood like 5 times in the pooring rain to troubleshoot it then read the manual....
