I'm able to do all those changes on my non-COMAND unit, and acccess the envelope...but still no text messages.

Weird. The system in the demo is an A20.

I just can't reply to texts. Had to turn on 'Show Notifications' in my 3 series also.

Thanks, after turn on " Show Notifications" it works with my Audio 20. Anybody knows how to config e-mail reading? there is e-mail icon but is disabled.

I figured out my issue (at least related to this topic)...I have Show in Notification Center and Show on Lock Screen turned off. So one, or both of these must suppress it from coming up on the MB screen. When I turn these both on, it comes up.

Thank you so much...this was the one feature I just could never seem to get working, until now...I had "Show on Lock Screen" turned off. Just turned it on and VOILA - text messages on the COMAND screen!
