And by that I don`t mean another MB. I`m probably gonna get banned for this.....
But a VW Golf for instance? As an estate? I am currently waiting on my C350e, still 2 months left until production. And I got this great offer on the 2017 Golf Alltrack, $200 cheaper a month.
And this car is at a local dealership, so no it`s not facelift. That`s why I got a good deal on it.
I don`t know if Golf Alltrack is available in the US, but here this kinda cars and estates are the most common you`ll se around.
Got second thoughts, cheaper and a car ready for easter vacation.
I`m lost....
(PS! As far as driving sensation and feeling, the C class are a notch up compared)

Possibly the only vehicle I'd even consider over my current C450, that's in the same class, would be the next iteration of the BMW 340i xDrive in 2018.

There are several, but every car purchase has an opportunity cost. When I'm shopping there's usually one car I keep getting drawn back to, or one car that I'm constantly using as a reference to compare others to, and that's the car I end up with.
It's like getting married. There's usually at least one cute bridesmaid at your wedding where you're thinking "ya know..."
Human nature.

There weren't any bridesmaid in our wedding.... Don't know what I am trying to achieve with this thread. Reason says "cancel the uncoming lease on the C350, pay $1500 for it and head over to the Golf".
But something in me pulls me to a pickup in Stuttgart in the end of June and drive that rear wheel home. I know I will regret as hell if I don't.
I've never been know for being reasonable, so why change it 😉

Out of curiosity, how many threads are you going to use to showcase your self doubt?

This is really over the top. It's a lease. You're not even purchasing the car. You're going to give it back. There is no perfect car, and it's certainly not a Volkswagen. You're choosing between lower-mid-tier Mercedes and an economy car. Run the math, figure out your budget, and move on.

The Audi A4 with virtual cockpit for sure , VW is doing good things as well but as much as I loved their conventional interior design I'm completely over it ! They need to change things up in there , those things have looked the same inside forever !!! The 2018 Atlas is the only available vw that looks different, hopefully the others will soon look different.
Also my last vw kind left me bitter , good reliable car just I got sick and tired of changing the bulbs it came to a point where I stocked them nearby in the garage .

We have a Q17 with VC. It's cool but kind of a gimmicky. I have a feeling the novelty will wear off quickly. We also have a 2012 CC we bought new. It's a nice solid car, drives well, it's been reliable. Not a luxury car by any stretch, but good competition for the Camry, Altima, etc.
The car to get in that price range IMO is the Mazda 6.

I was on the fence when I got mine.. was looking at a Golf R, Audi S3, a used E92 M3, and a few other cars.. actually had the CLA45 or the GLA45 in my sights originally until I drove both back-to-back with the C400 and the E92 M3.. Very happy with the car over all.
That being said, the car I traded in was a 2011 MK6 Golf GTI, and I do miss the 'go-kart' like ride .. it was very fun to drive, and was the primary reason I was looking at the Golf R.
