Question I just want to go home!!

While I have meticulously gotten through the owner's manual for my '16 C63S that I just got, I admittedly have not made it all the way through the COMMAND manual. However, I can't wait any longer to get some help with this stupid problem.

All I want to do is press the voice control button and say "Go Home" or "Navigate Home" or "New Destination Home" or whatever. I have tried manually entering my address and saving it as Home. Regardless, every time I say these commands, it pulls up ridiculous names from my phone's contact list and starts asking which name I want to go to.

The only "workaround" I've found for now is to say "navigate to Jeff" and it pulls up my own contact info and shows a work and home address that I have stored in my phone. So first I have to select the contact line that's me. Then I have to select the line that's my home. It's ridiculous.

I've also read on the COMMAND screen about being able to save an address into the Favorites screen by holding the star button down while it's highlighted, but I haven't had any luck with this either.

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious. Any help is appreciated!

The only success I've had is simply dictating my address each time.

Press the voice control button. Say 'Find Address'. A list of your saved addresses will show. Your 'Home' (aka My Address) will be the 1st one on the list. Just say '1' and you're all set.

I have my home address saved as a favourite and access by using the favourites button on the centre console, not sure if you can access your favourites via voice control.

This is one of the things I was trying to do. I thought the on screen instructions said to highlight the saved address and hold the star button down, but I couldn't get it to save it as a favorite.

I've done it by saying "last destinations", and choosing my home address from the list, but it only works if you navigate home frequently enough--looks like l3m's solution is better.

Hmm. This doesn't work for me. When I say Find Address, it doesn't show me anything, instead it asks for a name. Then I'm right back to the ton of annoying steps of saying myself then the line then the line for home.

Doesn't show up on the main screen. Or the dashboard screen. Or the heads up display.

Go into the favorites first, then add a new favorite shortcut and point it at your saved address. Once its a favorite, it's like two button presses to lock in your home as a destination anytime.

Yeah I need to try this method again. The onscreen instructions made it seem like I should just go into the Nav screen and move over the saved address in my Recent list and hold the star button, but that didn't do a thing.

When you create a new icon in the Favorites screen, it seemed to me like you have to choose what you want it to do from a fixed list of options. I'll take a look again and see if I notice how to point a new one to a saved address.
