V6 Turbo Upgrade Anyone?

Found an OEM modified turbo upgrade for our engines on German Ebay, http://www.ebay.de/itm/Upgrade-Turbo...-/292028808197.

The turbos are developed by Turbo Technik Hamburg (TTH).
Anybody heard of them? Looks like they have turbo upgrades for over 100 different types of vehicles, although many are Euro-only (non-US) models.

For about $4700 (4000 euro) plus software tuning (and maybe downpipes) you can have about 500hp. Hope that's a conservative figure. Nice to see there's aftermarket development for our powerplants.

English translation below:

1x Upgrade turbocharger set for the following vehicles

Mercedes Benz V6 3,0L
C400 C450 C43 AMG
E400 E450 E43 AMG
GLC43 AMG
Year of construction: from 10/2014
Engine: M276
Displacement: 2996 cc
Power: up to 367KW - 500HP

The OEM turbochargers were optimized with the following changes:
Milled Extended Tip compressor wheel with the latest compressor geometry
Optimized by CNC turned compressor housing
Turbinenanschliff for less exhaust gas pressure
Fine-balanced to 0.05g
Own production
Plug and Play assembly
TTH-M276-500

With the corresponding engine components and the adaptation of the engine software, a performance increase of up to 500HP is possible.

Interesting, but need way more information. The 450/43 is already capable of mid/high-400s for crank hp with a tune and downpipe. $4700 for a handful more hp doesn't seem very appealing.

Well, since people are paying twice as much for Weistec's upgrades on the C63 I think these will be appealing to lot's of folks.

Wow! Very tempting (if I had a V6). Great stuff. I haven't heard of TTH. I know TTE, they make hybride turbo's VW, Audi etc.

Unfortunately I just got a C200. I would love to find a hybrid turbo that fits 1 on 1 on my M274.920.

Thanks for sharing

Very cool... actually not bad pricing assuming it comes with everything you need. Tune, lines, etc... just add an exhaust, brake pads/rotors/ss lines, and some transmission software tweaks and the C400/450/43 would be a ROCKET with these.

Actually, it looks like it's just the turbocharger assemblies are a direct replacement. Your existing oil lines will likely work. No tune comes with the upgrade either, so you'd have to source your own software to get maximum power. I'm guessing that 500 hp value is a conservative estimate.

Looks like these guys are now modifying turbos you send in for EUR 1,999 (~$2,300). Not a bad upgrade for us C400 guys with the smaller turbines. I wonder if Pure Turbo or Vargas Turbo will do this for the M276 bi-turbo. Shipping is about EUR 100-150 each way, so it can get a bit expensive all in. Might be looking into this later this year; I can get dyno tuning from a local shop.
