Apple CarPlay in W205 - C180 2017 ?

Apple CarPlay in W205 - C180 2017 ?
Hello gentlemen,
I recently bought a C180 November 2017 model. I have the Smartphone CarPlay Port and in the digital guide I see details about Apple CarPlay and I don't see CarPlay inside "Tel" section.
Is there anyway to include it in the car ? I think it's just something people need to unlock. I've sent an inquiry to my local dealer (in Romania), but they don't know so they forwarded it to the capital (Bucharest) and I received a baffling answer saying that it is not possible for a completely different VIN than I provided...
I've contacted MB in a LiveChat they told me it is possible and they are working on a solution to retrofit others as well, and that for my model is possible.
It's stupid if you think about it, it's just something that needs to be unlocked, they must be able to do it via software or some kind of modification.
Can someone shed some light ?
