Service Indicator Light Not Lit
Hi All,
I tried doing several searches and didn't find anything on this. My car was new July 2017 and has 11K miles on it. I'm very pumped to do my Service A, but the indicator has not come on! I have also called Fletcher Jones Motorcars to inquire, and they said they had no idea but that I should still service it.
What do you guys think? Did anyone's C300 go past 10K miles with no indicator for service A? Am I just not being patient enough?
Thanks!

1. Go into the cluster and under ASSYST PLUS - and what does it say there ?
2. Did you purchase new - or was it demo/pre-owned ?
3. If it was bought demo/pre-owned - or if someone messed with resetting the service indicator - either way if Service Interval got reset - on the W205 if the Service Interval is reset - it resets the "time" starting from 0 - however based on mileage it to the next service mileage interval at that next interval in this case - 20K miles

For me, Service A didn’t appear until 10,100 miles, and Service B at 20,100 miles.
MB Service recommended changing every year, even if i drove <10k

Today, when i started the engine, there is a message in the odometer that says " service A is required in 29 days" I bought my car on April 29, 2017 and as of now, the odometer is at 8647 miles. So, I think the service indicator will go by the time frame, not the mileage that you drive.
