Burmester Sound System Not Working

I was driving and playing music through Bluetooth and the speakers were working fine and then suddenly they all stopped. No sound from any sort of audio, whether it be radio or Bluetooth. I tried resetting many times by pressing the eject button for the CD and that didn't help. Music shows that its playing on the screen, just no sound whatsoever. Any ideas?

On a separate but similar matter I went in for a recall two weeks ago and was offered an audio update for my premium sound--I agreed.
Now the radio sounds absolutely AWFUL from the moment it was returned to me. I've been back and forth 4 or 5 times to no avail. After complaining to the svs manager the shop foreman had a look and said no all my updates, were, well up to date. He was a decent enough guy but wouldn't reinstall the software said there was nothing he could do. It almost feels like the amp is under powered, maybe a fuse went? Stations are prone to static, which was never the case before, it just wouldn't be available. It is so frustrating because it was working perfectly fine before they messed with it...
Any other ideas? It is a 2015 C300 with Burmester
Thanks all, Jack

I have a 2017 C300. I am having the intermittent sound issue. I took it to the local dealer because I purchased the extended warranty. They told me that the amp has a short in it because of water damage. There is a small piece of trim designed to channel water around the deck lid on the passenger side that was leaking. It has three posts that go through the body to hold it in place. The posts have rubber grommets that are suppose to seal the holes. In my case, someone had removed the trim and did not install it correctly. The upper most pin was not even in the hole allowing water to drip behind the trunk liner directly on the amp. The dealer would not cover this situation under warranty, and said the repair was going to be $1,700. I told them that the car was certified as a CPO by a Mercedes Dealer, and that item 113 on the check list states that all seals and drains on the trunk lid were checked for function and all were marked "Passed". The selling dealer did send the car out for some minor body work on the fender before I purchased it, so obviously the trim was pulled when they painted the quarter panel..... I contacted the selling dealer, and explained the situation. They are picking up the car, leaving me a loaner, and have agreed to take care of it because the deck lid clearly had a problem when it was certified.
I should also mention that when the dealer diagnosed the problem, they put back in the old amp for me to take to the selling dealer for repair. The sound has worked ever since, so I wonder if the problem was the connectors to the amp perhaps loose, or affected by the water?? PS The amp is behind the trunk liner on the passenger side. I would check the connections and look for water damage.

I no longer have that car, I have a 17 E now. But I do recall the aux battery was replaced and that solved it. Sometimes even the main battery needs replacing, the infotainment sys uses a lot of power. But try the aux, I think it is in the kick panel on the passenger side.
Good luck,
Jack

They original dealer replaced my amplifier and fixed the trim piece that was leaking on the amp in the passenger side panel in the trunk. It has worked ever since.
