The Conti summer tires will offer no grip on ice and snow. You'll just be spinning all 4 wheels as soon as you hit an incline. If you live someplace flat with minimal bad whether you might be able to ride it out. If this is a DD and you have any hilly terrain and wintry weather it would be wise to get another set of tires.
I use Pilot AS3+ for my Fall/Winter shoes and run the contis late Spring/Summer. Once the Contis wear out I'll just run the AS3+ year round. In a colder or steeper environment I would run winters 3-4 months of the year and Pilot 4's for the other seasons.

18'' wheels with winter shoes (Go with aftermarket. MB wheels are soft and overpriced.)
Dash cam
exhaust
Vinyl wrapping or ceramic coating

The AS3+ are a little sportier and a little more expensive depending on where you buy. I have heard that the DWS provide a little more grip on snow and slush. The guy who owns the tire shop where I go for all my tire stuff runs DWS on his wife's Audi and loves them. DWS were my second choice behind the AS3+. These two are widely regarded as the top tier for AS performance tires.
One thing I like about the AS3+ is that when you break traction it's much more linear than most other tires. What I mean is that you can feel the wheel slip incrementally increasing instead of them going immediately from grip to slip. This is kind of a minor nuance and only worth considering if you really like to hoon the car a bit.
