Talking DIY illuminated Mercedes Benz hood emblem :)
First prototype. Would love to have the star light up on top, but I don't have the tools or skill to cut the lines and apply clear plastic inserts.

My 3mm leds arrive tomorrow, so will update later.

This version is using a blue fluorescent acrylic disc. I also have clear discs for a white glow.
