For those who have been waiting our new intake system is finally out. Dramatically improved throttle response and sound, decent power gains, looks awesome under the hood. Fun little modification.

Yes I would think sound clips, before and after IAT data, and dyno graphs supporting the 10-20whp gains would be crucial for the success of these! That being said, next year I will buy these if they are functional and more than just sound!

My concern is engine heat soak. Actually my concern with any of these types of systems. Not sure about the filters being so exposed. Heat soak and maybe water intrusion. Is the cold air intake defeated with the engine heat all over and filters not covered?

I feel like it would heat soak in the city, in stop and go traffic especially in the summer but when the car is rolling, I feel like it will provide more power since it will be able to draw in more air compared to the stock system.

These have been out for over 2 months now but I am still not able to find any videos or reviews online. Has anyone installed these yet on their c400 or c43?

We've shipped maybe 60 sets, lots of positive feedback on sound and performance. A few complaints about filter clearance being tight to the hood insulation but overall everyone loves them.

I installed the BMS intake and I’m happy with it. I recorded these 2 clips for a fellow c400 owner, just posted them so you guys can see

I have c300 and installed BMS intake. It's exactly same but just one intake. Heat soak is not problem at all just watch out when cleaning the engine bay since sucking water is not good for your engine.

ps. my instagram : youngki.co.kr -> find out my build up

Agreed - water ingress would be my first concern with this design, followed by heat soak.

Any idea if these are compatible with the W212 E400 using the same engine?

Those clips sound so good! Do you have a tune and exhaust on as well?

Yes and AWE touring exhaust and AMR tune. The tube totally transformed the car. Had to install coil overs so it wasn’t so sloppy

Curious to what coil overs you put because the c43 suspension is really sloppy imo also
