No sound over Bluetooth

All of a sudden when I use Spotify, Google Maps, or iPhone music, there's no longer sound coming out of speakers although it plays and the display keeps counting off the seconds. Radio works fine.
I pressed the disc eject button for 10s to reset the Command system, deauthorized & reauthorized my iPhone over Bluetooth to no avail.
What's happening? Do I have to have it inspected by dealership? Is there anything that I can do to troubleshoot this issue?

Try rebooting your phone.

I did that too. I can connect my phone to speakers in the bedroom.... so I'm guessing something is wrong with the Command system

A gaggle of MB's
Erase Bluetooth/Phone from COMAND - erase MB/Bluetooth from phone - reboot COMAND off and back on - while COMAND is rebooting - reboot phone on and off.

Once this has been done - resync Bluetooth/phone - then go into Media and add phone as Music Device.

You should be good...

Unfortunately, this didn't solve my problem either.... I can play music when I connect my iPhone with a cable and select "Media Interface 1" but no sound via Bluetooth audio. I will see if my iPad has the same issue...

i had the same - even if only hearing music via spotify or else you need to have at least one track within appleMusic to get spotify playin´via bluetooth. sounds strange but that´s the way it is

How about trying an actual command FACTORY RESET (not a reboot)?

Thanks for that!
So I tried my iPad and it worked fine.... I erased all data and settings from my iPhone, set it up as a new phone, and then connected over Bluetooth and it worked as well.
However, when I restore my iPhone from iCloud backup, the problem continues. I followed the factory reset instructions to reset my COMAND system but that didn't solve the problem.
I'm now 100% certain that it is my iPhone that's causing this problem. I don't know why it happened all of a sudden. I haven't changed any settings on my phone and haven't downloaded a new app either.
