Kind of regretting color/carplay decision
Hey guys! So I just leased a new 2019 C300 this past weekend.
Features: Black exterior with black MB tex interior, 19" AMG spoke wheels, AMG line, Carplay with 10.25 center screen
I admit, I felt rushed into choosing a car since my lease for my 2016 C300 was up. I went in bent on getting a black exterior with silk beige MB tex interior but my dealership didn't have that combo with the AMG line.
Now that I have had it for a week, I'm starting to really regret not taking my time to choose the car I wanted. Another thing that bothers me is carplay. I really dislike how you have to always plug it in for navigation. I miss having multimedia/command
Do you guys think the black on black looks boring? At first the diamond grille/AMG line made it look different but now, I'm already tired of the look and I feel so stuck with it. What are my options?

I like black on black. My W166 GLE350 has that combination. To my knowledge, wireless CarPlay is aftermarket only with Mercedes. I wouldn't go that route, it looks like too many electronic doo-dads that may not work or may interfere with something else. BMW is offering wireless CarPlay on 2018 X3s and other vehicles. It works seamlessly.

Wireless needs either OEM or aftermarket hardware. After looking at the aftermarket options, I would avoid them. BMW offers wireless CarPlay, if you are in the market for a new vehicle, have a look at the Münchnern.

The last color combo I would get is black on black. Lighter colors and interiors look so much better IMO. You're right....you should have held out and gotten what you wanted.

I really hope my dealer has some options for me. I did a quick search on this forum as well as google and I didn't find anything on turning in a lease right after taking delivery of the car

My last Mercedes was off the lot and I settled for it, because it was a good deal. I didn't like the color of the car or the interior or the equipment package. I traded it for my present CPO, which has pretty much everything I want. It's so much more fun having your car the way you want it. Good luck with your lease.

The reason I'm holding out hope is that this happened to another member of this forum not long ago, and his salesperson accommodated him.....here's hoping

Almost 3 years. It was a GLA250. The same silver color as 50% of the cars on the road today, halogen headlights, FWD, no backup camera, just to list a few things. My C300 is Lunar Blue, which I love. When I come out in the morning to say hi to it, I am happy, instead of asking what that piece of crap is doing in my driveway. Life is too short-get what you want. It's only money.

I had white/black for my last C300 so was hoping for another look for the interior this time. Sometimes I feel that silk beige looks more luxury than sporty but it also makes the interior look more airy and spacious. It's such a toss up. But more importantly, I really want the multimedia or at least the pre-wired SD slot for navi. I really dislike using carplay. The other day I was at an offsite in Malibu and the carplay navi stopped working because I had no reception. I got lost for 30 min!
