In a new 2019 loaner, and I hate it.

So jumped into my new 19 c300 loaner today for some warranty work. Is it me or does the 19 feel like very heavy and boat-y? Doesn’t feel faster at all! I mean it’s just a base c300, but I’m not impressed, except the screen is a bit nicer. Might need to try a more loaded 4matic sport model to really compare.

I’ve had 2019 loaners that I despised. Mostly based on suspension/handling.
I attributed this to tires, though.
Frankly, when I had w205 loaners when I drove a w204 I didn’t like them. But, they’ve grown on me. They’re more responsive, have much better seats, and obviously more bells and whistles.

The So gets access to a 19 C300 as a company car and it feels very similar to our 15. The biggest improvements in the 19 is the Apple CarPlay and the headlights.

So I had to switch one 19 for another 19 because the drivers window was broken and I wanted fresh air lol. The one I have now is a sport model RWD, which is definitely better than the previous loaner but find the 19 suspension much softer and makes me less confident in taking quick turns. I LOVE love love the brighter and more colorful ambient lighting. I can’t be the only one that thinks the new engine and 9 speed combo feels very sloppy, it’s very noticeable to me but it does have some decent pull. The new headlights I can’t say for sure are any better than my active leds but for sure better than the base halogens. The new key is just as bad trying to open the door without pulling out the key, engine is just as noisy in the mornings. I really don’t like the new analog gauges at all, but I’m sure the new digital ones are cool. Honestly the biggest differences to me are the engine feel and suspension and I’m not really in love with it. The only thing I envy is the ambient lighting, I want to upgrade mine now if possible lol

2019 C63 coupe
guess I'm not the only one notice that front right tire always just tiny bit warmer than the rest.

Here's 2 things that I find weird after 8 days of ownership. #1- In the center display it shows the digital speedometer in mph, then to the left of that it shows your speed in km/h. I think the km/h is there for good. Is there a way to remove it or put something else in its place? Or are those of us in the US just being forced to get a lesson in the metric system? #2- I'm used to a car showing the odometer, but this car seems to only be able to display the miles until empty while using the classic mode. I do love starting the car using the "emotion start", puts a smile on my face every time.

Also in a 2019 loaner while my wrist pin job is being done, the bigger screen and wireless phone charging pad are a nice touch.

Not a fan of the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel...

I notice the engine operating temp is one notch on the gauge cooler then my 2015, it runs slightly cooler?

My service advisor said it was changed for symmetry because it sits more in the middle.
