Anyone know of a safe and reliable place to buy Mercedes Benz parts online in 2019? I usually shop Ebay, but it doesn't have the parts I need.

These sites all have a similar look and feel and EPC catalog search feature, but feel very sketchy to me.

I don't mind buying from these sites. Most of them are dealership part departments. For example: benzpartshq.com is Mercedes Benz of Tampa. Some of these sites are run out of warehouses or their contact address is the UPS store. I stay away from them. Also factor in the core charge and the amount you'll spend to send the part back. I have three MB dealerships in area. I'll usually call all three and buy from the cheapest. It just really depends on the part.

I just had a great experience on the phone with mymbgenuineparts.com. They are the wholesale seller for Lokey Mercedes Benz in Clearwater Fla. Dan was sharp and very helpful and he got my parts in the mail just an hour after I placed the order.

I was searching around the net for a part like you were and I was hesitant to order from an unknown web site so I picked up the phone and started dialing. If I can't get a human on the phone then I pass them by. I was pleasantly surprised by mymbgenuineparts. Dan returned my call in short order and was very friendly, knowledgeable and gave me the kind of service that was beyond what I expected. It is my first purchase with them but I'll be very surprised if there is any problem.

they're all just online resellers that dropship from the same warehouse. Most of those kinds of websites are 1 guy and a laptop.

That works for me as long as they answer the phone or reply to email when I need them. I buy OEM parts that are warrantied by the manufacturer so I imagine that I will be able to find someone to honor the warranty if and when necessary (I hope).

they are not all drop shipping. "mymbgenuineparts.com" uses a canned web site and I was hesitant to order from them but when I called them the guy told me that he had the parts in his hands and he did ship them within an hour. Fedex had them the same day. They don't all drop-ship, you need to call and talk to them.

Right, I said most of them. Not all. A lot of them are service departments attached to dealership. A lot have multiple domains for a single company too (smart). What I usually do is just try to get the local dealership to match online prices, frequently they do.

fcpeuro give lifetime warranty if any replaced parts fail on you.

fcpeeuro has been good to me so far. If you are near them you should goive them a visit. When you pick up your parts you use a tablet computer to find your name in a list. When you tap on your name the computer gives you a locker number and you just go retrieve your parts from that locker. Pretty slick.

but all those sites look the same because they're all templates from a third party, they sell it to dealerships who don't want to develope their own sites.
