Sweet! The wind noise from my right passenger side is driving me nuts, the plastic clip that holds it down broke off =/

I bought mine with 14k miles used(c400),have just over 100k now, but this wind noise is absolutely frustrating and no one can seem to find the part number for the missing clip. Clip in place Clip missing

y roof is functioning...for now. No wind noise from the the roof.
My sun blind wont roll all the way out. The metal edging is off the tracking and all distorted. I assume from the hot Florida sun? I just leave my sunblind open all the time now but it does get annoying during the summer despite the glass being tinted. Anyone know where I can get a new sunblind roller?

As I learnt recently. Call your local dealer or service centre. Even if your car is out of warranty Mercedes may still honour it since its such a common problem.

you never know. They replaced one of my seat cushions where the MBTex cracked, even though there's no warranty on that, they "didn't want me to be disappointed", so they hired a local shop to fix the seat. The local shop made it worse to Mercedes just replaced the seat.
I have same issue where it wouldn't close probably so took it to dealership where I still got the pre owned car warranty and there said driver side rail broken so there will order the part N change it over nxt week under warranty

Any word on the part number to fix? Mine too cracked and broke. Mine is the plastic clip below the "wishbone" mount. I have looked everywhere with no luck. Plastic guide directly below the "y" broken

They told me the whole thing would need to be removed and the headliner would need to come down not sure how accurate this is. Going in Tuesday to get a price quote.

They are correct, the MB procedure is to replace both rails and the guide tubes, along with the motor if there is any sign of wear on the teeth. Probably overkill but what would be done under warranty as a repair.
The headliner has to be lowered, not removed from the car, and someone who has done it a couple times can complete the job in half a day. But it is not easy or simple by any means and not really a DIY type of thing as it requires Xentry to run in the sunroof after installation and program the anti-pinch system.
