I have a 2015 C300 W205. I got a check engine light with codes P052E, P052E-71. The scanner says "The valve fro crankcase has a malfunction. The actuator is blocked". I called MB dealer PCV part but they said that W205 engine doesn't have a PCV. Does anyone know that w205 has a pcv? If yes where is its location? Thanks in advance for your help.
Had the same issue happen no more than 3-4 weeks ago. It’s in the lower engine assembly... if you are trying to do it yourself... don’t. Take it in. Cost of repairs were $1300 before my service warranty. It was a full day repair. About 8 hours on the lift
Thanks JChristjr5. Your info is very helpful. I already booked an appointment with MB dealer to check up since I still have 2 months of warranty. Hopefully they will cover it? I google the part number that you give me. I think it is the one in the picture (mark in red) but I am not 100% sure.

Are you certain this is covered under emissions warranty because mine came on last winter then miraculously went away by itself. Mines 2015 so the warranty may run out soon. I rather have MB replace it sooner rather than later.

I finally got it fixed by dealer and it was covered by the warranty. Thank you for your comments. They also fixed 2 door handle LEDs which were burnt out a year ago under the warranty.

That's definitely gives me a bit of hope as my vehicle is the same year. Hoping warranty doesn't run out before it happens. Fingers cross.

Hi, friends, I have got the same (P052E - crankcase vent valve malfunction) for my 2015 MB C300 W205 BASE, RWD (NOT 4 MATIC) a few days ago. So I spent about 20 hours to find for parts to fix the malfunction but I have had no success. Could u be so kind of writing all necessary part nos. I should get be replaced please?
