Home aircon has to be cleaned once a year.
I know exactly how the coil collect dirt on home aircon, so it should be the same on cars ?

For good maintenance sure... will not hurt anything...

Took delivery of my C300 Luxury trim on 2/07/15. Haven't cleaned the AC yet (but I am retired, and it has only 23,000 miles).

If you ever start getting the "wet gym shoe smell" - easiest DIY is heat on high/full blast - "recirculation on" if you have that - run for 20 minute to cook the sh*t out of the system

1. MB "recommended" cabin air filter change at 20K/B service

2. Mercedes has a "Climate Control" cleaning service - which is a aerosol spray cleaner as another options service

3. Amazon has "Klima Cleaner" aerosol which is same manuf/OE supplier for MB

4. Some of my buddiess use a Toyota "climate control aerosol kit" avail from Amazon or Toyota dealer

I JUST bought a Mann Cabin Air Filter today on Amazon same as a Benz, and that cleaning kit and . When you do Cabin Filter in my C63 (W205) they have a connection right next to it and i can spray this and kill bacteria. Good Reviews.

I don't have a Benz, but I can share my experience. I think you can order ac repair holiday fl at least once a year if you don't want your mover to shake somehow while running simultaneously as the AC. A friend of mine had a used car with a/c that caused the engine to shake while standing still. There was nothing wrong with the vehicle on the road. He ended up getting his air conditioner upgraded and repaired. I guess AC repair service can't be considered too expensive if you'll do it once a year. Plus, when you buy an air conditioner, they give you a warranty for the first time you use it, and you can also benefit from repair services.
