Front license plate - No drill, No tow.
Is there a front license plate holder that can snap into the grill?
* Trying to avoid having to drill holes in bumper.
* Not a fan of tow hook license holder. I think it also blocks a bit of headlights.

I was looking for exactly what you are asking for. Came across this one. Emailed and they confirmed it would fit 19 MY Benz. I haven't ordered it yet but plan to.

I live in a relatively rural area, so that may be why I have never been stopped, I know people who live in more populated areas close to Chicago who have been stopped.

Slybracket no drill front plate
Finally installed my no drill front license plate from Sly Brackets. Once I figured out how to install it, worked great. Key is getting it mounted at the right height. Did have to use extender (included) with the mount. Plate doesn't touch car at all. Overall satisfied.

Hey me either! Been driving my car for almost a year without one. But I drove out of town a TX State trooper pulled me over for it. So gotta have it on when I'm driving out of town.

I was reading this thread the other day and was gonna reply with my fix, but I wanted to get the part number first. The plate bracket I took off the 2007 E350 had tabs that, once pushed into the mesh openings held the plate on securely, or so I thought: it was at the dealer for auxilliary battery replacement and when I picked it up the front plate was missing. My wife is the daily driver so no idea when or where it fell off....

I wish the previous owner of my C300 would have used the grill clip style. Front plates are not required or provided in NC, but the plate holder is drilled into the bumper. Guess I’ll get a “show plate” or something for the front bracket.

remove it and buy plastic plugs at the hardware store to fill the holes. I bought black plugs for my current car but I've used touch-up paint to match a silver car.

Not quite invisible, but almost:

After painting with touch-up paint they looked like this:
my current car is black and looks even better, using the plugs in black, no paint:
