"Check Engine Oil At Next Refueling" Warning - Post Wrist Pin Repair
So, I had my wrist pin repair done under warranty about 2 months ago.
All of a sudden now this "Check Engine Oil At Next Refueling" messaging has suddenly started popping up as of yesterday.
I have not added any oil since the repair and have driven it over 3000kms and 2 months before this message appeared.
When I check the oil by dipstick, it seems to be above the max.
If they overfilled it after doing the wrist pin repair, I would of got this message sooner.
Has me concerned, any ideas?

I was expecting the oil to be low a quart, I was shocked when it was above max.

So brought it to dealer that did the wrist pin repair today, they took some oil out and said keep a eye on the level. I checked it and it sat directly in the middle of MIN and MAX.
While driving home I got the message again. Checked the level, and it hasn't changed.
Leaning towards oil level sensor...
Does anyone know how much quantity of oil is between the MIN and MAX of the dipstick?

Anyone have any info on replacing the oil sensor? I cant find anything anywhere.... This error message is super annoying and the oil level is fine.

It should be pretty easy. If you look at the bottom of the oil pan you will see the base of the sensor. Just unclip the wiring, unscrew the bolts, and pull the sensor out. Reverse process to replace.
