Hello,

I got a question and hope to get some answers, I'm new to this and so far loving all the help Anyways i just bought my C300 used, I got it with the night package and sport package but didn't come with the shadow lights on the doors? I looked up reviews on the same vehicle as mine and they state the night package comes with it but mine didn't, unless the previous owners took it off or the dealer? I really love how it looks. Should I get some aftermarket ones or can i get them from a Mercedes dealer?

did you look and see if there is an opening for the lights on the bottom of the door?

On the bottom of the door panels? All i see is the red reflected lights on the bottom of the panel that turn on when I open the car doors.

I thought you meant the shadow light that reflect down to the ground. You are looking for the lights on the door panel and dash. If you have the bottom light you should be wired for the other lights. I have no idea how to check those but I did change the bottom lights so they reflect a Mercedes benz logo on the ground.

Yes I am talking about the shadow lights that reflect on the ground, i just bought some off eBay for my two front doors, they'll reflect the Mercedes Benz logo on the floor when I open the doors.

If you have the opening the bulbs must be bad if it does not reflect. Put the new ones in and it should work. if not find out which fuse controls them and check it.

Hey, were they just dummy? I was also placing an order for the light and noted that no light turned on for the rear doors.

Rear 2 doors have no wiring. They are just reflectors, not active lights.

There are active on my 2018 uk spec C200 with night package.
