How to remove rear bumper vents for AMG flics (W205 Sedan)

I've searched, Googled, and couldn't find any detailed information on this.

How do I remove the OEM rear bumper vents without removing the rear bumper? The closest tidbit of info I could find on this forum was to "use needle nose pliers and to pull up and out". Ummm yeah, tried that and no bueno. Hopefully someone here can be more helpful and descriptive!

start at the top - the hook at the bottom needs to be lifted up on after the first two clips are detached.

Thanks for the images! I was just about to reply stating I couldn't find any of your threads with the info minus the "small mods" thread that only mentioned you ordering the flics.

What's that tool officially called? and did you just carefully pry the off (top to bottom) while trying to mind the paint? See image below...

it's literally a tool out of a nail pedicure set lol. and it comes out very easily - apply painters tape if extra concerned. as soon as you get leverage behind it - it will pop out.

Hope you have found your way on getting them out......

if not, just use dental floss! I used dental floss and tucked them behind the top part of the plastic vent.

Once the floss is securely looped over the top, just pull.

All the best!
