My car does that door squeak thing when they aren't lubed up.

Have you guys done anything to help assist with sound deadening?
Also, what are you guys running audio / speaker setup wise? I have the Burlesque(spelling) sound system and the 2015 NAV (No Apple Play). Anything decent aftermarket wise there?

I have the creaking door seals too and I bought all the stuff recommended like the rubber treatement and stuff. Know what worked? Dielectric Grease. Some guys on a corvette forum recommended it and it works great. I tried everything else, silicone grease, spray grease, the Pleger stuff or whatever, but good old dielectric grease has worked perfectly.

Thanks for the heads up. I will give that a try. Also looking at sound deadening stuff because I hear this whine from the rear dif area. Directly correlated to speed. Oh well, google says it seems to be fairly common.

How do you apply it? Just smear it on and go?

yeah you just put a light film on. Remember you have the rubber seals, then the outside weather strip, and also do the the rubber seal where it meets against the c pillar too, that made a big difference on mine. It is completely silent now.

for sound deadening stuff check Raamat. You may want to confirm with the dealership that the diff sound is normal, on my C400 I had to have a rear diff o-ring replaced.

The car is outside of warranty. Wonder how much they would charge to inspect it lol

The whine sounds slightly like an electric drill that slowly gets a little louder with more and more speed. It paces speed though for sure.

People riding in the car say it sounds like my car is electric o something

that is not normal at all and I would take it to the dealership or independent shop ASAP and probably not even drive it.
