[W205 Maintenance] Lubricate Moonroof
Hi,
In my W205 C300, I have a lubricate moonroof recommended maintenance at 30.000 miles.
I found many posts regarding sunroof lubrication, but they are for older models, like this very informative post here: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...nt-s-part.html
Does anyone have a link to how to lubricate the moonroof? or what type of lubricant needed?

Well... Even after taking care of the moonroof, at 55k miles that moonroof broke and quit working.
The driver side rail broke, and after visual inspection, I found some of the plastic components of both rails completely crackled!
Called the dealership and they quoted me over $6k because they "must" replace the entire moonroof assembly, and was not covered under warranty no more.
the dealership did my 50k miles maintenance and didn't mention the moonroof having cracks in the rails. Because I'm sure it took some time for these cracks to build up.
