2015 c300 4matic exhaust rattle
PLEASE HELP ANYONE, for about 3 months my car has this annoying rattle like tin cans behind a wedding limo sound. It's coming from underneath in the exhaust or cats I have no idea and neither does the MB dealership after 3 service take ins they are just saying these cars sound like that after time. Any idea anyone? All heat shields, clamps and bolts for the exhaust have been checked 3 times along with the brakes and god know what else

It is not normal. Any place that says that it is normal with age does not deserve your $

When you drove over the camera the loudest sound came from the cat - sounded to me like a piece of the cat is broken off and rattling inside.

I've got a 2015 C300 w/ 65K miles and it doesn't rattle like that. Try another dealer.

Pin point the location using a stethoscope for vehicle($10~$20). Buy a replacement parts online if the vehicle is out of warranty. DIY or go visit indy shop.

Thank you for taking the time to look at this thread I appreciate everyone's input. After taking the car back again the found clamps and a bolt loose, not sure why this was missed 3 previous times with responses from the mechanic that there was dirt in the bumper probably creating the noise and no noise noticed which was bull**** because it sounded like that all the time. I appreciate it anyways guys I'll post a new video of the after.

BY ANY CHANCE DOES YOUR WHEEL SOUND LIKE THIS? HERE IS MY OTHER PROBLEM. Took for an alignment and some recall with the steering and since then my car makes this rotational grind. Again the MB dealership here in Canada said it's my tire tread flexing on the rim. They took the tire off, sealed the tread amd put it back on and voila, same noise

sounds like a brake rotor shield got bent a little bit, and/or wheel bearing going bad

The dealership said it's the tire flexing on the rim they put some lube on it, extra this time, and the noise was gone or not noticable at the dealership but by the time I got home it was the same
