I want to install the AMG Ice 1920x720 boot animations but the folder doesn't have the splash.img file.
I see that more folders doesn't have this file?
So how do i install without the splash.img file.

You can use any splash.img file you want or no splash.img file.
I use the classic splash.img file cause it looks cool on startup.
I bought myself the N600 version, basically 10.25in version. Connected everything and have no sound from the phone when connected by Bluetooth in android. Sound is coming from navigation and music but not from the phone call. Asked the seller on Aliexpress and they asking me if i have connected the speaker which is shown on the picture above as number 18. Did anyone experience the same? do I really have to connect this speaker to get sound from the phone calls? why it would come just from the speakers? I have a Mercedes C class from 2015 with Comand Online.

Sorry, i just use NTG for bluetooth music and phone calls.
Google navigation works on the Android side with phone wifi. Audio out the usb aux.
I c. I was hoping to use a single system and forget NTG, but so far the way you have described seems to be the one.
Trying with Discord now and also with the seller.
What is strange, that there are other similar units on the Ali which do not have the speaker in the box, I assume they do not have the same problem??? Would be interesting to find out.
Could be an idea just instead of using that small speaker connect the wires to the centre speaker on the dashboard???

How did you manage to fit all the cables behind the head unit? I have a Burmester and head unit has an amplifier at the bottom which leaves very little space to hide the harness. I cannot push the head unit all the way back after connecting android harness. Has anyone experienced the same? and how did you solved it guys?

The quad lock adapter fits just fine behind my command unit (circle). There is plenty of room. All the cables from the display were routed down both sides.(arrows)
Not really sure what year or model you have, but myBurmester Amplifier is located in the trunk (behind the passenger side trim)

Not sure i have to check the unit, i have comand online, and it is quite thick. All teh youtube videos have a thinner unit, mine is approx. 2in thicker. will make a picture next time. thanks for the advice to put wires on the sides.
Thanks, got my unit installed a couple of days ago. Managed to fit all the wires. Also connected DAB radio. As for Bluetooth no solution so far, using NTG.

Hey, I downloaded the files to my USB drive, plugged it into the USB and it showed up in the File Section but nothing else happened. I can play the video but how do I get it to install the Boot? Also in the screen I see a separate section for choosing MB or AMG but for some reason they have the old AMG logo and I want the newer AMG logo back. Navifly has been useless in answer this question and I find you look very knowledgeable.
I made the folder and called it OEM. I download the files but not the one with the splash but another boot with the splash I want but like I said, nothing happened. My Screen started like it does and just looks like nothing happened.

The steps are literally this simple (nothing more or less):
1. Format a USB drive to fat 32 .
2. Create OEM folder in the root directory of your USB stick 3. Copy both bootanimation.zip and splash.img files into the OEM folder. (splash.img is optional if you don't want one) 4. Plug in the USB drive to your Android display 5. Wait for confirmation of successful installation (You should see a message on the screen that say something like "Boot Animation Loaded")
6. Then unplug the USB drive. 7. Reboot screen.
You also have to make sure you download the correct resolution for your screen. Mine is 1920 X 720p.
If it doesn't work contact the discord group and look in the FAQ section. You may have filled up your available memory with files and need to empty it.

Why not just use one as is, just to make sure it works,
okay, so I tried it again. I did everything you said.
I started the Screen, put the USB in the USB wire, it shows at that top of the screen as a USB. Waited - Nothing. Took it out and put in the SD CARD, it showed on the screen as a card installed. Waited - nothing.
I restarted the screen, first the USB.. the old splash came up. I tried the same with the SD card, same out come. Nothing. They both just show up as tried and I noticed that the system added to other folders on it's own. An Android folder and volume folder so a long the card and the USB started with the OEM folder and ended with 2 additional folders. I have the Navifly 10" with has a option to change from MB to AMG in the settings screen an in the hidden code section. I even downloaded Bootanimation for Android which is a am that is suppose to help you find the Root folder, however that also failed.
Figured out the issue with boot animation not loading. At least I got it to load. I had put both splash.img and bootanimation.zip in the OEM folder. it appears it doesn't load load the bootanimation.zip if there is another file in the folder.
Did you only have those 2 files and not the preview file also?

I've tried all ways possible except diving deep into the tech that is on Discord. As of right now, my screen does not seem to offer the option to change the boot animation either by using USB or SD Card and with the correct screen size option. It only recognizes that USB or SD card as memory locations and I can see what it only them and even open them to look inside the folder.

Your "persist" partition which has only 32MB is full?
My OEM is only 5K and the USB is only 112K, I used fist my 64G USB, then my 4G and this my 112K USB = Nothing worked. I even used RUFUS to reform the USB... I think the problem maybe because I have the N400 which has a different fold setting the boot front.

I think I know what the problem iS. I downloaded Root File from the Playstore. I was able to find the bootanimations inside the media folder. I was able to copy the file to see what was there but I also noticed format was for multiple cars, Audi, BMW and Mercedes. The files are named bootanimatio_39 and bootanimation_41. I tried to upload the file from the bootanimation from the site that was provided but and noticed that the root folder is protected and as such I can't upload to that folder, even manually. So, unless I use ADB (I think that is what it's called), I will have to use my laptop to get into the root folder and do what I want to do. For that, I'll wait some time as I learn more about that process.

For me I could only have either splash.img or bootanimation.zip in OEM folder. When I had both only the splash was loaded.
In addition try resetting unit while USB flash drive is in the cable. Then let Android start up and wait for boot animation loaded notice in lower portion of screen.
