C350e airmatic suspension conversion?

Hi, I’m having trouble finding a suspension conversion kit for my C350e.

fed up of the airmatic suspension, would like to change it to regular coil overs.

can anyone help, give some advice...?

Out of curiosity, what is currently wrong with your Airmatic. Is it leaking or ..... If so, what mileage do you have and do you do any "off road" or towing. Is it fronts or back Air that is giving problems?

I know it is a lot of questions, but just wanted to hear the full story as I am considering Air.

The entire car dropped on me, mechanic thinks it’s the air valve block, which I’ve ordered so it can be replaced.

car is 4 years old with less than 30000k on it. Previous owner didn’t drive it much.

was looking for a suspension conversion to save myself the haste of changing it again in the future.

No off-roading or towing was done. I was told (after I bought the car unfortunately) that this is a common problem.

I see.

Can also be the compressor (expensive) or just an airline that got broken (eaten by ..).

Let us know what they find.

I’ve ordered both the compressor and the valve block. Planning on changing both.

I love the car, don’t get me wrong, just don’t want to have to throw money at it all the time.

we'll see how things go.

I know of three w205 Airmatic cars and they perform well for the age and mileage. One car had an issue with one front Air strut, but they fixed it under warranty.

I guess the struts at the dealer is pricey.

Did you take it to Dealer to get diagnosed?

well that’s refreshing to hear. My mechanic did the diagnosis and said it was the valve block. Fingers crossed this fixes it.

Probably sold the car but if not would be interested to hear the solution.
