2017 W205 rear brakes with AMG option
HI
I own a 2017 w205 C300 4Matic with AMG option (VIN 55SWF4KB0HU182096) with 50K miles and during my last oil change I was told from dealership that my rear brakes need to be serviced. It seems that my rear right side pads are almost worn out. Cost from dealership ~$800. I have researched parts from different vendors and MB part suppliers and I am a little bit confused. When I give my VIN number for my rear rotors , I was given a different part number, 000-423-18-12 , which is described as a replacement part for a C300 without AMG option. The part number for the same part with AMG option is 000-423-05-12 (Rotor, Left With amg sport package. Sedan, c300. Coupe, convertible, c300, with sport). I called my dealership and they confirmed the 000-423-18-12 is the correct part number.
As anybody else replaced the rear brakes and had the same issues? Also some third party vendors sell the same kit but the rotors do not have the grooved hub as shown in the attached image. Does it make a difference? Also, because of mileage, is it needed or recommended to replace the rotors and not just the pads?
Any help in the matter is really appreciated.

I would just diy the rear pads for $100 if it's urgent. All c300 and c43 uses same rear single pot caliper, rotor, pads. Only the fronts are different. Cost on pads aren't big so, change those first instead.
Dont forget to put the rear brakes on service mode or else the caliper piston will pop out and need to buy another caliper.

I just had my rear rotors and pads replaced for the first time also at 50k miles. Dealership wanted $850. Was quoted $250 for labor by my local foreign car indie. I ran into your problem as well while searching for parts. Found the best price on Ebay and gave it a shot. The parts are all genuine and haven't had any issues. I'll post link so at least you can check part numbers.

I changed my rear pads at my local dealer 120 usd for pads and 50 usd for labor. Add 11% tax. Total cost 187 usd.
