Replaced original steering wheel with a Glc and now vibration does not work.
Hello. I originally had a round steering wheel (shown in the first photo) with vibration and heating and changed it to a Amg flat bottom from a Glc with vibration only (shown in the second photo). Problem is now the vibration is not working, any knowledge to how do i deal and fix it? I understand i will never have heating with that steering wheel again i don't mind it but vibration should work right? Please help.

I dont have heating or vibration i frankly dont care about both.

That sounds like what OP is talking about, I wonder if the motor needs to be installed in the steering wheel too. As in the steering wheel don't come with it if the vehicle it was originally from wasn't option those driver assist features? Unless the motor is present but it is just coding.

Thank you for your reply, i did the swap because the flap bottom looks more sporty for me and i wanted to refresh my experience a little bit.

Sounds like something needs to be coded if the the hardware is intact...
