Center Control Not Working
The the holding of the eject button did nothing, the screen did go off but came back on today - weird.
I checked the cable of the harness but I couldn't find any issues.
The plug in the picture is where the harness plugs into. It's located under the center dash.
As you can see I'M doing some checking.
I think the problem is that there is no power on this plug but signal. Where is the fuse for this plug or am I looking in the wrong way. I checked all the pins that I could reach and one, I think the top left is dead and that could be the power but where is this fuse?
Anyone else had this problem and solved it?
Let me add that I scanned the center and the scanner stated that it could not communicate with it.
Scan can't communicate, no power?

After testing all the wires, making sure everything had continuation, and looking at which wire powers everything = the Head Unit.. I plugged everything back in, one plug at a time and boom... everything booted up and all the errors I had disappeared and the car is back to normal.
My next step will be to remove the HDD and Copy it and install it back using the Window System. From what I have read in my AutoData is that if you do remove the HDD and you do anything wrong there, Mercedes will have to update everything or say you have to pay for a new audio system and without the audio system, the controls through the center stop working, which I found weird but since all the module in the center share the same power somewhere in the network, the Head Unit can cause another module to fail communication.

Funny enough, the media and BT music is still playing.
