Talking Time to buy new tires again. Any thoughts on PIRELLI CINTURATO WEATHERACTIVE?
ime to buy new tires again.

I am looking at :
  1. MICHELIN PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4 (currently using, great driving performance, low snow and ice performance)
  2. PIRELLI CINTURATO WEATHERACTIVE (better snow and ice performance, top marks in every category)
Anyone have experience with PIRELLI CINTURATO WEATHERACTIVE tires?

The Pirelli Snow ties is just that a snow tires meant for winter driving only really.

None of the tires listed are winter tires.

PIRELLI CINTURATO WEATHERACTIVE is an all weather tire.

I will probably get the PIRELLI P ZERO AS PLUS 3

I read severe snow service rated -
which to means would be a compound more suited for cold weather winter tire and less so for warmer months

Probably can be used all season but I would pass on it as way better all season tires and does not snow where Ilive.

After much research, I went with the PIRELLI CINTURATO WEATHERACTIVE and just in time for the first snow test. So far so good.

Hi @benzdude , how is the Pirelli Weather active?

I live in Ottawa, ON and I'm looking to buy these. We get a decent amount of snow and from what I see online, Pirelli All Weather tires are good enough.

What is your experience so far?

If you are getting the insurance discount for Winter tires then all weather tires will nullify your claim if you get in an accident.

They are doing very well so far. No major complaints. I've had rainy weather, snow and ice to test them. 10/10 in those conditions. Also, very quiet on the road.

On dry roads, fast driving and maneuverability, they do ok. They seem a bit "sticky" on dry road. That's the only word I can think of to describe the driving feel. The ride also seems a tiny bit harder.

I do miss the tight control and nimbleness I had with my MICHELIN PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4s on dry roads, when driving fast.

The Michelins would respond very well to the smallest change in the steering wheel, without overdoing it.

Too bad they sucked in winter weather.
