Is it not caused by sticky keys, did you spill something sticky on to the centre console? Maybe the car is sometimes registering the button as a press (well, switch, tilt) when you didn't actually touch it?

Check for codes, but what mode are you trying to stay in? What about individual, does it stay there or you watch it slowly going down to sport+ and sport then comfort or does it skip straight to comfort from individual?

U016887 - Communication with electronic ignition lock has a malfunction
C007362 - The delivered drive torque has a malfunction. The signal comparison is faulty.

Both of which doesn't have anything to do with your problem, except maybe the signal comparison which the system deems the comfort mode is the safetest to stay in?

You could try restoring the changes you made then.

What you could try is reverting that change you made and see if it stops doing it.

I assume you mean by repro as in reprogramming? Can you revert this?

Fair to say it wasn't doing this before you tuned the vehicle? As in stuck in comfort mode?

See if this is the cause to that: https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/threads/...faulty.300037/

Someone remapped the vehicle with MSL and caused that code.

I can't tell, is this car tuned? It's likely the engine torque fault that is causing this. Something's wrong with your tune/engine, so it can't correctly determine the amount of torque it makes and therefore it likely reverts to the Comfort throttle map as a precaution as that is the safest throttle map. You gonna have to sort out why you are getting these faults. If the engine is tuned, then it's likely an issue with the tune. If it's not tuned then something else is going on, such as a faulty sensor.
