I think the best thing you can do is to continue to work with your dealer. They should have the most current information. I doubt MBUSA will know any more than your local dealer knows at this point. The chip shortage is a real nightmare scenario for MB and the entire auto industry. MB's info will only be as good as what their suppliers are telling them. I think patience is your best option,

So, based on the latest ordering guide, heated rear seats and rear steering most likely be available as options on cars coming to the US? At least not as of in the near future?

Maybe for MY23. At this point it's not going to appear for 22.

The 2021 S-Class was launched June 2021. MBUSA says the C is releasing this spring, though.

Yes, they can, and will. Model year is VIN specific and production driven.

My vehicle, currently on a boat, was built in November. Order board is still very much open for model year 2022 C’s.

Just curious but are you replacing your current C or is this in addition? Only asking as you have such a rare combo, C43, Emerald and Saddle, it would be hard to give that up.

Here's the link to the MBUSA announcement of the W206 U.S. base price of $43,500 along with the equipment available on each of the trim levels and their escalating price as of the end of January 2022: https://media.mbusa.com/releases/rel...art-from-43550.

Point being: check every dealer spec bound for your dealer(s) as part of their launch allocation. They may have had a Burmester or two or three make their way through.
This week I was able to get an allocation from my dealership with Burmester in the build sheet. I know net star was able to add it so it seems legitimate. Does this mean the Burmester sound system Is actually available when they build the car?

Does the build sheet list it as DA6 sound package?

Yes. This is exactly how Burmester will show--in the DA6 package.

It'll be outta here. It is a company car for me, and normal churn is every two years. Given the delay of the new C-class, my trade cycle was thrown, so I'm "overdue" and can't wait for the updated AMG C43.

While it's a rare combo, it was unfortunately involved in an accident 5 months into stewardship--I was hit in the passenger side rear wheel when someone ran a red light. While this would be the spec to buy-out, I don't particularly want to buy a damaged vehicle, even though it was repaired to an incredibly high quality.

Do you know the difference between DA6 and
810 Premium sound system?

My understanding was that 810 suppose to be the burmester?

Thank You

DA6 is a "package code" just as DA3, DX1, and DG3 are package codes. These package codes are setup to simplify individual option codes--such as the 810 Burmester audio. You'll note that DA3, DX1, and DG3, just for example, also don't have their individual option codes listed, so as to simplify the build sheet. Hope this helps.

If DA6 is on the build sheet then I can assume it would have a very high chance of it being on the car correct?

If the car has built already, yes. If it has not yet built, there's a chance they could pull it from the order, still, and credit you the difference.

Its not built yet but the computer added the option without any issues like they did have with some other orders.

2022 C class Sedan
this is the build sheet I received from my dealer. From my understanding, the only missing feature is hands free access. Is that right?

Seems like it since that's the only code that says it's missing. For my build sheet hands free access just doesn't show up as a whole instead of saying it's not available.
