The Best of Mercedes & AMG

I was watching some reviews of the C300 on Youtube and most of the drivers complained about the spongy brake pedal, how long is its travel and how bad is the blend of regenerative braking and friction brakes. Some say they couldn't feel confident with the pedal and couldn't get used to it.
However I find the brakes to be just fine on my 2023 amg package. I can stop the car on a dime and I don't feel the pedal has long travel.
I wonder if it's something related to the early 2022 model and then sorted on the m.y. 2023. What are your impressions?
Took some time adapting to the break system, sponginess or delay action, whatever they want to call it. I personally didn't find it a fault, just different. I had to stop it on a dime, as well, and car had no problems reacting to the breaking.
I believe is a personal feeling. Some people like the break pedal to start reacting to the pressure right at the top, some other more to the middle range. (kinda like clutches).
But I can understand where most of people don't like the feeling. It's like driving electric cars with real regenerative breaking. There is an initial learning curve.
Mine is MY2023 (and i see what the reviewers are saying.. since i custom ordered mine and had the 'privilege' (covid scarcity) to test drive two 2022s (since it took 8 months for my custom order), the 2022s did have a very fluidic/spongy brakes as compared to my 2023.
