I just picked up my 2024 C43 with digital lights in Maryland and the low beam is absolutely horrible compared to the W205's updated lights. The W205s were great for a few years, then I updated to the ILS+ EU programming, and they were amazing. Coming from those to this digital light and I am astonished how this even left the port. My low beam is so low that I might as well be driving in fog. The dark spots are on the left-hand side, so it's even harder to see the entire road before a car comes. The high beam assist is ****. It takes about 2 to 3 seconds for it to turn on. The fact it can turn off in a microsecond for oncoming traffic tells me this again is a **** programmer.
I have already pinged a few ILS+ programmers to get this on the vehicle. Until then and until I can take a few to adjust the height, I will be dazzling the hell out of the world with my high beams permanently on.
Also, I appreciate the digital projections while driving being on the road. The start up animations with the logos are not for me. The previous C series lights just did a simple vertical line dance. My poor neighbor got blasted last night with AMG shining through their windows.
I picked up our 2025 GLC 43 a month ago and notice the lines, how and where do can get the ILS+EU programming?
New 2025 GLC300 here and the same issue with sharply pointed shadows when on low beam. Extremely distracting. If going down a hill they get very close to the car. This is on top of all the MBUX bugs. Very disappointed with my first Merc.

Same issue with my 25 GLC 43 there is no fix for it just have to ignore it and get use to it
Same thing for my 2024 C63 SE Performance. Headlights have black jn them especially on left side. Very distracting and safety concern. I only have 200 miles in the car

Common in North America with the reduced beam compared to Euro.
I guess in the manual it says those dots on the ground/asphalt is for lane keeping. No clue if that’s accurate however they raised the headlights today at the dealership. Let’s see how it looks.
Quick update folks, it literally does not seem like they’re there anymore. Only when I hit a wall, I can see them because on my feud of view. They’re barely noticeable now because they raised the headlights. I think there were too low because now it looks fine. If I really pay attention, they’re there, but it doesn’t bother me anymore because you can almost not see them anymore.

How much did they raise it? I am assuming you mean they raised the tilt? Mine is in the shop for adjustment.
I am not sure, the car is brand new and it has 220 miles so I took it in and it’s covered under warranty. They put it on the machine. It took him about an hour.
By the way, Mercedes officially came out with the newsletter, like an official announcement about this stating there’s no fix right now. Basically we’re stuck with it and they are aware of it. The dealership told me today.

Regarding the documentation, I did not ask them where the official announcement regarding this issue is. But the moment I said something, the lady called a service manager and they said they had a guy in last week with the same issue and that Mercedes issue a statement. I’m sure if we Google it we may be able to find it?
