'24 C300 and I cannot control the seat position from the door anymore, the heating is not working as well. In fact the entire module is not lit up on the door. Everything else on the door is just fine. The problem occurred when I pressed one of the memory buttons to reposition the seat and that was it. I was able to get it back with the automated seat adjustment from the touch screen. So, the seat moves fine, just the door module quilted. Checked all fuse boxes and all are fine. Considering a software issue or switch failure. Anyone have seen this problem? I have an appointment for next week...

On my '23 the only issue I've had with the seat controls is that the seat lowering would occasionally not work. I'd get into the car and could adjust the seat any other way but up or down. The memory function, comfort entry/exit or even automatic seat positioning in MBUX would not change it. It's happened a few times and in 10-20 minutes it's working again. Super annoying.

I've never had the lights go off on the door or any other issues. I suspect you have a hardware failure since the entire module housing the seat controls and ambient light surrounding it seems to be losing power.

That does sound like a software issue, I wonder if there is an update available to patch it. There are many modules on this vehicle and each has their own version of software to control it. I am not sure which is the module responsible for it though

I am on the same opinion. I believe that watchdog could have been triggered(over current, speed, temp, or similar) and this needs reset. I have them look at it next week, so will see. If this happened to be the case, they must have set pretty tight tolerances one would think...

I see, hopefully it is a simple fix.

Okay, now I can update that the problem has been completely solved. I have a scheduled visit at MB service center but I have to cancel it now. I downloaded the door unit control package which was due for update and that alone seems to fixed the seat. Please note that just the download got the light back on on the buttons which were completely dark before and make difference between download and installation. What I'm saying, the lights came back on before the package was installed. Now I really wish Mercedes make this thing with the update more straightforward. Honestly, the entire process is a struggle, at least for people like me who never done it before, and I consider myself above average when it comes to technical stuff, electronics and software, I also hold an electronics engineering degree. It's nothing like a straightforward thing. Maybe it could be, but there are too many weird things which I have noticed and just don't want to collaborate on them here. It will take very much space. In the end everything is working-memory, seats, heating, no check engine lights, no problems whatsoever. So I have to call and cancel the appointment. If anyone is having questions, please ask. I'll be happy to answer.
