oK IM PICKING THIS UP TOMORROW
Very impressive results! There also seems to be a good bit of room for improvement on both the ET and trap given a harder launch and better air. I wonder also how much room there is for improvement from exhaust modifications.
Were you able to get some 60-130mph data? I would imagine that on that one run it would have been a mid to high 8 second time... and that is without optimizing the starting gear.
With these new biturbo beasts running around...I might have to up the ante on my mods.... or break down and join the fun..

The best 60 - 130 run without brake boosting was 8.6.
Its my understanding that Renntech is working on a bunch of mods for the BiTurbo V8. I'll ask out about the exhaust and let you know.

With the lighter E63 on the way we might see some 10 sec passes w 130+ traps!
....As for exhaust being that its a turbo car if you go with a open dump (exhaust valve) before the cats or turbo back exhaust straight through (catless) you should be able to gain somewhere around 30-40 HP.
My question is how are the intercoolers in these new set ups? Upgrades?
with turbos the gains are endless.... Wont be surprised to see 800 hp 63's soon enough.

So if anybody sees a 94-98k priced ride it likely is the one for me.
h e l p. hahaha
I did not think anyone else would wish for a bare bones one.

Maybe we can run your beast with my tire set up after your tune and take a crack at the renntech car.

The magazine times generally don't equate to real trap speeds unless they were at a dragstrip (Not Vbox) and did not use a correction factor.
Also, check dragtimes.com - stock BiTurbo CLS63 (even with PP) are trapping 115 - 116 mph in poor air.
The 125 mph for the RENNtech car is uncorrected in hot, humid air (DA of 1700 ft). This CLS was trapping nearly 127 mph on the Vbox and 125 mph on the timeslip. I prefer to go by the timeslip.
That was a very good pass in a one off car that will take a few hundred passes to master due to electronics and safety features.
Plus Vic never runs on the drag strip, haha look for some 60-130 stuff however
I was running on a regular test and tune night, and had limited runs to experiment with the car. Also, I was very consevative with launch since we were just seeking a solid baseline and trying not to hurt someonelse's car. Looking forward to cooler weather and a track rental so I can fine-tune the launch.
I expect guys is the NE and other places with good DA to be running in the 10s very soon.
Glad everyone enjoyed the video.

+1700ft da for our even more *****ty da of +3400ft
love to get my hands on a modded e63tt
and thats with a crappy 1.81 60 ft launch - think of the ET's on that car with a decent launch - 1.6's are easily achievable with DOT tires when done properly
Maybe 3.1 = 0-60 with:
1. Larger turbos
2. Bigger injectors
3. Larger throttle body
4. Headers
5. TCU Tune
