How I can track my car order. CLS63 designo
How i can track my car. I just order my CLS63 designo with all P1 PP every things. but i want to know hoe long it will take and there is any way i can you whats going on the order?? and since its a CLS63 "designo" its really will takes longer

Your dealer will be able to keep you updated as to status, do you have an estimated build date? What designo options did you order? And congrats w/ the order, it's a tough wait but well worth it!

its a 12 CLS63 Diamond White with red interior, everythg els except the ceramic brake.
But if i put the order on 7th of Dec when the car will be at 1st stage of production and how many stages out there??
any1 can tell what he got regarding time and estimation, about his/her story??!!

Different car. GLK 350 built in Bremen, Germany. No idea if this applies, but here goes:
Build: October 11, 2011.
Ship landed in Brunswick, GA, USA: November 6, 2011.
GLK 350 unloaded from truck in Tyler, Texas: November, 12, 2011.
Safety inspection sticker dated 16 November, 2011.
AMG build will take longer. Transport to ship will take longer.

I can't tell you the stages, as I was lucky in that I got my order in mid Oct for a Nov 1st build, and had the car delivered 11/22. My dealer said it's the fastest turnaround he's ever seen. Of course mine wasn't a designo custom, so ymmv.

ps: We don't know where you are. Transportation from the AMG factory to you will be the longest time user once the car is built. Another variable is when your car reaches the dock and when th next ship is loading and leaving. Sometimes that is the same day. Other times, as in my case, my car waited several days for the next ship to load and depart from Germany. Waiting is hard. The wait will be forgotten when you take delivery and get to drive your new car.
ps again: I placed my order on September 3, 2011. Build didn't happen until October 11, 2011.

Some Manufacturers have order tracking websites. If you know the VIN, you can check your cars progress without having to bug the dealer. I've done this before (on other cars) and it's actually kinda fun!! Does anybody on this site know if there is an order tracking website for Mercedes Benz??

I ordered mine last month, build date of February, delivery in April. I have normal interior with designo cashmere white exterior.... fully loaded (minus brakes). I don't know why my que'd up date in February is so late--I know ppl who ordered after me who will get their car possibly 3 months before me. Can't all be because of the designo exterior paint.

Hope This does not scare you lol, I ordered mine to 29th of July, then I got a build date of 10/20,I then called on the 30th of October to see how things were going and I told me the date was now moved to november 30 because of some type of shortage on parts for my car......so I then called back on the 30th of November and was told my car was built and at the port in Germany wait to be shipped and should be in GA. On 12/13

Hope This does not scare you lol, I ordered mine to 29th of July, then I got a build date of 10/20,I then called on the 30th of October to see how things were going and I told me the date was now moved to november 30 because of some type of shortage on parts for my car......so I then called back on the 30th of November and was told my car was built and at the port in Germany wait to be shipped and should be in GA. On 12/13
thats alot man 5 moths WTF whats ur order?? there any disingo special thing in ur car??

Nothing that special , originally cashmere white black interior LSD ,carbon fiber,PP & all of the electronical goodies, nothing to warrant a 5 month build BUT not that this should matter but I did take off the pp and decided to go with aftermarket ecu upgrade

I've got a VIN as well and was told my car could possibly be on the 'Courageous Ace' which is due in Panama next week (left port at the end of last month), I'm assuming up to SoCal 1-2 weeks later.... no one knows (including the dealer) whether or not my car made it on the ship or even if its finished being built... doh!
