Creak from the dashboard area (C218)

Creak from the dashboard area (C218)
Hi there,
Has anybody experience excessive creaking noise coming from the dashboard area? I took my car in a few weeks ago to address this issue but the noise reappeared a few days after I picked up my car. The dealer removed the dashboard and added insulation to it to reduce the noise but it's still there and can be quite loud at times.
I was just wondering if anybody else has experienced this problem and what solutions did you (or the dealer) do to address this problem? My car currently has about 7000 miles.

Where on the dashboard, its a pretty big area?

have only had a slight creak on my driver side, near my window.....
but not enough to be concerned.......

there is a fix for it , the one for speedometer.
you can put your thump and make it stop, i used 3M two side tape and stuffed it between the two plastics
never heard it creaking again.
cheap and less than 5 minutes, dealer will open the whole dashboard to insirt a small plastic there.

Can you take a picture of this plastic insert on your dashboard? I use my thumb too, to stop the damn creak! I also find the creak to be sensitive to temperature change as well.

i don't have my car now, but it was also temperature to sensitive, if the dashboard is hot it doesn't creak, if it is cold it shrinks and creak, i noticed it the first day i got the car. and i am sure it is the same plastic above speedometer.
you can take it to the dealer or pull it down a bit and stick 3M double side tape and keep pressing it until it dry.
