At last... we have peace.

And look at the conical nature of the wide 11's- much better.

Will continue to listen to us and lower the damn thing? LOL

this one was a couple weeks ago.....

and from today, despite the blurr, you can kind of tell....

went 255/35 in front and 305/30 in the back....
and the tires are MichPS2's...
very nice tires.....pretty grippy...for now
and they can be rotated side to side too....

thanx for the comments...
it does look worlds better...
not so excited about a drop but anything is possible I guess....
who knows what the fate will suggest

I never heard you could swap PS2's left to right- they are not directional but actually asymetrical right? I have had 5 sets of PS2's and never swapped them ever.....

Man, I'm now all confused about wahtg asymmetric means. I thought that means swapping from one side to the other is okay. I need to look this up.

By the way, the pics looks good!

Asymmetric tires can be swapped side to side

Curious, what's your reservation about dropping the car..
I personally agree with leaving it for now at least. We all know bigger wheels and / or lowering makes a car look better but I still think your car looks great. Even with the 19 s. happy to see that. Cuz if I ever change wheels I might stay at 19.

I remember when I got my 17 inch 3 piece mono blocks on to my w126 to replace my 14s everyone said drop it.. I held out for 5 yrs. it looks beyond brilliant now but that's a different situation.

Not all... Nitto Invos, nope... My Bridgestones on the GTR ... nope...

And most if not all tires have an inner and outer denotation which to some would mean dont swap side to side.

The pic in the avatar is with just the rims, since then I lowered and blacked out the window trim, door handles, and chrome strip on truck lid. I will get some good pics up very shortly and post in the w212 non amg forum. Thanks for the compliment.
edit: There are a couple in my gallery, but the car is not lowered.

Even with the denotations it can still be done. Essentially the tire will run the opposite way it previously was. Outside will still be outside.

More often with all season tires is this the case

Obviously with directional tires you shouldn't have the tread go backwards.

Bottom line is not to swap the tire side to side with taking the wheel out, but I suppose in directional tires you can do that..

Maybe Luke from tire rack can chime in
