and from today, despite the blurr, you can kind of tell....

went 255/35 in front and 305/30 in the back....
and the tires are MichPS2's...
very nice tires.....pretty grippy...for now

and they can be rotated side to side too....

yes, the stock rears were 285 I think....

Curious, what's your reservation about dropping the car..
I personally agree with leaving it for now at least. We all know bigger wheels and / or lowering makes a car look better but I still think your car looks great. Even with the 19 s. happy to see that. Cuz if I ever change wheels I might stay at 19.
I remember when I got my 17 inch 3 piece mono blocks on to my w126 to replace my 14s everyone said drop it.. I held out for 5 yrs. it looks beyond brilliant now but that's a different situation.

More often with all season tires is this the case
Obviously with directional tires you shouldn't have the tread go backwards.
Bottom line is not to swap the tire side to side with taking the wheel out, but I suppose in directional tires you can do that..
