My cars and coffee experience

I was really amazed by the responses I recieved from people today at the first cars and coffee I went to this morning.
I didn't really know what to expect, so I didn't really have my car very clean...but it didn't matter!
This thing is a people stopper! lol......
I spent a lot of time talking about the HP/TQ, the wheels and calipers, the CF inside........
and because of the forums I think I didn't look/sound like a complete idiot either.....so thanx to the forums!!
but if you guys have these events in your area's and are not currently going to one, I highly reccomend it! you'll have a really good time......
I barely noticed it was 100 degree's outside

oh, and I still really don't like those fugly **** Gt-R's either.....there were several there.........
also Ferrari's, Porche, BMW's.....
was a lot of fun....
didn't get many good pix though.....

I know: worthless with no pictures.......
its pretty funny. I'll edit it and speed to to like a 30 second movie and post.
Glad you have one in your area too...fun as hell....

what do you find they comment on the most? I had lots of comps on the wheels in particular

I got a chance to walk past my car and listen to some folks speak about it; I just kept my mouth shut and listened........a lot of great feedback about this car! I had the hood propped open as well as the trunk...several people mentioned how big the trunk is too....
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Your car got more attention than just about everything, between the color combo and the P30 package it was a show stopper.
Great to meet you today, lets do it again next month!
Erik with the same color combo E63.
are you confusing me with someone??
no worries.....
I guess partly because it's a new car and has not been seen that much yet...
the kids I parked next to in their AMG's didn't even hang out......but they were looking under the hood

planning on bringing my 550 next time, hopefully I'll have my R43's by then....

start one up!!
then you'll have one....
word will spread.......cars will come....
think about it: high performance drivers 'hear' about a cars and coffee event.....they want to go to!!
make one happen!
.Not sure...I will find out. I have more vids running against highly modded GTRs...Alex's for one.

I have to say when I first saw pics of the new body style I couldn't even look the car seriously.... After seeing it in person, I couldn't stop looking at. Beautiful lines and details everywhere on this car

So a heavily modded GTR would eat a CLS- easily from a dig with AWD and up top too.
Does no one chew Trident? Too young I guess.

@Freefall, in Rochester.
What's with the comparison with the GTR? The CLS and GTR are two different types of cars :P Let's compare the CLS to other cars in it's class
I got "beat" by an A7 the other day. There were these 2 older gentleman in an Audi A7 3.0, and I didn't think they wanted a race. My car also had 3 co-workers, so I didn't want to do anything stupid. Sure enough, they took off at a light and a cop saw this, and pulled the A7 over. My co-workers and I got a great laugh out of it.
A heavily modified GTR won't even see me in his rearview after about 4 seconds.
My experience is from running against them at Willow from approx. 50mph rolling starts...
Vic - Alex's GTR is insane....

Would definitely love to do something like that
