CLS63 is gone...MB & Porsche content

I loved my CLS63. With the Renntech work, it was so fast! That said, I decided to get rid of it, and picked up these 2 cars.

991 Carrera S will stay stock - perfect as is with almost every major factory option.

G63 AMG

Mods that will happen soon:
-wheels done in black [either gloss or satin]
-remove brush guard
-change interior trim to CF or piano black [trade, anyone?]
-maybe Renntech ECU tune
-maybe front window tint to match back

Different direction no doubt- but the 991S looks impressive---- are those the 20 inch wheels? I like the stock 20's but they look different than those.

How is the power in the 991S? I hear the PDK makes up alot there but it still misses something up top... I love my 997.2TT with PDK.

Those are the 20" Carrera S wheels. You are probably referring to the 20" Carrera classic wheels. Anyway, the car isn't as fast as the Renntech CLS63 but it pulls a better hole shot and the PDK is fantastic. I love it but I am also #1 on the list at my dealer for the 991 Turbo. Dropping 1100 pounds is tremendous and the new Porsche infotainment is the best I have ever experienced.

G63 is sick....love it. 991 is awesome also. G63 interior is awesome now. I like the G55 but they did make huge improvements.

We gained some solid HP with the exhaust figured I would share.

I really don't understand MB with many things... Here's another: They're giving all the new AMG cars the new style square exhaust tips. Why didn't they put the new square exhaust tips on the G Class; the most square-like vehicle money can buy? Instead they use the plain oval ones? I definitely think they would suit the shape much better...

Thank you. I am going to keep the 991S stock for now. I'm #1 for the 991 Turbo at my dealership so I am going to do that for the "ultimate mod"

It would be interesting to see them square. The oval ones look really good though - there are plenty of circular aspects on the car - headlights, wheels, spare tire cover, etc. Sometimes it's good to mix it up a little.
