Spoiler functional?

I saw some naked images of the cls550 without spoiler and it looks pretty nice. Is the spoiler functional or just looks on the AMG CLS63?

lol, I love the look of the spoiler. That's why I added one to my cls 550! I do believe it's functional at high speeds.

if you want an OEM CF spoiler from the dealer, be prepared to shell out over 3K

My CF spoiler was a fraction of that. Call Rob at Vivid Racing....

I was told that not only are they not fictional, but will create unwanted drag. This was from the owner of Hennessy....

Freefall, So just looks then? I don't have the PP pkg so won't be going over 150+. I have to think about as I have to remove the 3m double sided tape.

the one you have is much beefier than stock I think, and that price is from a dealer too

arent most of those lip spoilers just for looks? Renntech has one on their car, but I believe they said theirs was functional from watching a video. IDK- im not sure.

Fast Cars!
They are all for looks.... stock, even a stock style but slightly larger, put one one, and take if off, if you feel a difference get back to me. The day a CLS is put on a road course and is a full blow race car then we can start talking about functional spoilers and wings.
