Best way to spend 10k??
I won 10k gambling last night, going to put it towards some upgrades for the CLS63.
What would you guys do?
I already have a Kleemann tune installed and a set of HRE's on the way.
I'm thinking downpipes and a renntech diffuser and maybe an exhaust. All suggestions welcome!

that seems like a nice payoff so congrats......
sheesh, what a question! wanna go faster? look better? a little of both?
sounds like fun is in store![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
does that number include any install costs?
looking forward to what you conjure up

would you also consider a new transmission upgrade along with the turbos?
that would be a nice one, but the turbo pack from RT is pretty steep...(12K)
also with all that power, seems more is needed beside just some T's:
copied from site:
RENNtech Ball Bearing Garrett derived turbo chargers
Larger impeller (inlet) and turbine (exhaust) cartridge
Cartridge shaft is larger and stronger to support larger wheels
Entire cartridge is fine balanced as an assembly
Lightweight forged billet wheels
Less rolling resistance offers quicker spooling
Virtually no lag with impressive throttle response
Precision machined impeller and turbine housings
Leak proof, high quality lines and fittings with heat shielding
833 Hp and 980 TQ @ crank
I have been considering some go mods too, but the numbers add up really quickly and becomes a bit discouraging.......just me....

Nope, The turbo upgrade cost $8495 and the exhaust upgrades cost $4795, in total: $13290
I'm pretty sure pricing with Weistec can be flexible.
IMO, this is the most worth it performance upgrade on the market, in which Renntech's price is just too insane.
G luck!!

Wait for AMG and their packages: http://mercedes.alphaperformance.com/
Not sure when those are out, maybe give them a call to find out.

Porsche 911 Turbo S 2014! E63S 14, Audi S8 13, CLS63 12, E550 12, C63 09, all tuned
I have Renntech turbo upgrades. I was the second car done in Jan.
All I can say is the car is really stupid fast.
1/4 mile times are now not relevant, hooking up with with 305s PSS is impossible.
It is a driving experience like no other though.
Just remember the prices quoted for the upgrades do not include installation.
Your need to win some more money!!$$

I know I am a little late to this party... but since you already have the ECU tune and HRE's on the way...
I would suggest the Kleemann Downpipes and KW sleeve kit for starters
Pair that with an Escort 9500Ci, and the RT Rear Diffuser.
Or just go all out and do the turbo upgrade :p

I don't really think I need this vehicle to be any faster . Especially with this car only being 2 wheel drive i dont really see a point in having much more HP right now.
I'm probably going to go with some visual mods like a diffuser and maybe downpipes and exhaust for a little more aggressive sound.

How much are the kleeman downpipes with install?
I'm also planning on trying the KW in the back with h&r up front when my wheels come.
