Tyre help needed for HRE P44SC

Yes, 19's. 20's would look better for sure but should be an improvement over stock. Should get time to try on some tyres next week so will post pics when it's done.

Thats a toss up, better tire vs a little more width. The width is not that much more with the rounder sidewall and....... on my M6 I have an 11 inch rear but at the time the only PSS was a 295x30x20 (no 305) so I kept that and I know Id rather have the PSS than a 305 Hankook on the M6. So Id go 295 PSS.

No particular reasoning for going Renntech except that they had a local dealer.

Tyres were put on today and I thought I'd share some quick pics. Apologies for the bad iPhone pics. Will try and take some better ones soon. I ended up going with Michelin Pilot Super Sport: 255/35/19 front and 295/30/19 rear. We tried putting on the 305/30/19 but it was rubbing even with my conservative lowering.

Thanks. Car definitely feels flatter through bends which is a good thing. Comfort is not too bad - feels a little harsher but not unbearable by any means.

How much do you think you lowered the car overall? Looks like about one inch below stock, but a little hard to guess from the pictures.

Ok so I ran 20x9 and 20x11 with the same offsets so the "pushout" is the same and the diameter is very very very close since I ran a 30 series front and a 25 series rear.
I dropped my car and would rub for sure with PSS with my set up. I ran about 1/2 inch fender over tire. I went with the rounder sidewall to avoid issues (Hankook). The PSS is very very square so its almost like having an extra 3-5mm in offset pushing out. Id go with the Hankook to avoid rubbing but no doubt the PSS is the better tire. But the Hankook is very good for the price and I pushed the car extremely hard in straights and turns with no ill effects.

On a side note: I have a set of 21x11 wheels on my 991 with 305x25x21 PSS's and when the tires are side by side with my 20x11 SL63 with 305x30x20's - its very clear that the square wall of the PSS is not prevalent on the 21's. Im not sure what they did but their tires are far more round on the 21's than 20's and 19's.

If you run the same offsets as I did and drop the car you will more than likely rub with a PSS. I was very very close to rubbing on the Hankooks which are a very round tired. Japanese tires tend to be more round no doubt and you probably can run Toyo's too. I know my Hankooks did not rub on the CLS.
