Got my girl some new shoes!
Went with 20's and 295's in the back. I think it filled out the wheel wells pretty good. I still may drop it an inch but I'm pretty happy overall.
Today I'm blacking out the chrome trim and next week will install the front spoiler.
...I love it when a plan comes together
If I compare the ride quality against the stock 19's and Conti's, believe it or not, this setup is better in that it seems to smooth out the road much more. It's noticeable to me. I thought that going down on the sidewall would create and even more jarring ride but it has not been the case. I ended up getting the Invo's even thought I've heard mixed reviews. I guess you could say that with any sub $300 tire though. The one thing thought is the road noise at why speeds is definitely louder.
I considered going 305 but one of my main goals was to fill the gap in the fender so the 295's and 255's up front did that with the proper offset. A little of me thinks the 305 may just look like a little much for my taste but I'd have to see them in person to really say for sure.
As far as lowering it. I theoretically could go a couple of inches but I think an inch would be enough. My two fears are reverting back to an unforgiving bump compliance and what Saks stated with the crappy roads in Boston. The roads look like a battle field after a carpet bombing.
Because Ill be adding the front lip spoiler, I'm not sure I'll end up lowering it as I think it's be too much and I'll end up ripping the front end off on these fantastic roads!
By the way Saks, was out at the Cars and Coffee event at the LarzAnderson car museum in Brookline today. Nice event.

I went with 305s. The ride is fine.
You are the only other one I know that went with those wheels. I could not swallow paying for HRE or ADV.

The wheel sizes are: Got a nice fat in back and skinny up front look!
Front wheels- 20 x 8.5" with 255/30/20 tires
Rear wheels- 20 x 10.5" with 295/25/20 tires
Emericr- I'm in the same boat as you. The HRE P40SC wheels are what I had to have when I saw them, until i saw the price. I decided I'd rather put the money into a tune and some other things.
Could I have done it? Sure, but as much as I say i'm keeping this car, I always end up looking to see if the grass is greener! And I don't really have the space, time or energy to sell them after.
Either way, I think the setup looks great. (just my biased opinion!)
Getting the spoiler this week so be on the lookout for those pics this weekend.

Here's a link to a European site with them.

OP: looks good man

That's my old car, we did that shoot back in 2012 in San Diego. Those wheels are P40SC's not the FF01. You can not get custom offsets with the FF set up. Oh the pricing is terribly different too.
Good catch Hype
and the 21's too

I think the FF101's via 5x112 come in fixed offsets so you might need spacers.
Edit .... HRE appears to have pre set wheels for the CLS but only 20x9 and 20x10.5 (not 11)

One local dealer is telling me the 10.5" 20s offset is too low for the Niche Targas and the 2013 CLS'
