Quick Spacer Q

Hi,

Asking this question for a friend who just picked up a bone stock 2017 CLS 63S and who's not good at interneting.

What is the correct front/rear spacer setup to make the wheels flush with fenders?

Thanks

I did search.

Those two threads are for a 2012 CLS550 and a 2017 CLS 350 ... unless I missed the info in those threads, I can't imagine those cars come with the same wheels and offsets as the 2017 63S.

Perhaps I am wrong, but I I'm just looking for someone who has done it on that specific car and can just give me a definitive answer so I can pass it along.

Thanks

LOL! I didn't mean to imply you didn't search. Just stating I did a quick search.
Anyhow. W212s all pretty much have the same body, AMG or not (supposedly the front fenders of the E63's are a bit wider, but ) I doubt very much it's any different for the W218. After reading this other thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/w218/4416...2012-help.html It seems like your friend is gonna have to find out which wheels he has since it seems like they came with a few different options. Hope someone w/ first hand experience chimes in.

I just went through this and OP is correct, the spacer setups are definitely NOT the same. I ordered what were supposed to be the correct front spacers for my 2016 CLS63 and they didn’t even fit on the hub. I need to dig up it up OP but I will reply to this with the parts and part numbers (spacers and bolts) for at least the rear end.

I'm running 12mm front and 15mm rear while lowered. Looks pretty flush and no rubbing.
