19" AMG RIMS

I got my 18" Swapped with the 19" AMG rims and I have noticed that the handling got better. also the car looks much more aggressive.

Aust. 19" Rims

Yes, no doubt it looks better with the 19" rims. I'm actually from Melbourne Australia. The CLS goes on sale this week here. My CLS55 arrives July. There is only about 15 of them ordered for Australia. I ordered mine last November without pricing comfirmed. You guys in USA are lucky because our road regulations are so much stricter. We donot get the 19" rims as an option here. They don't comply with our regulations, but I'm dertermined to import them in for my car. As for 20" rims that some of you guys have, they look sensational but not allowed here.
As for cost of car. The CLS55 sells for approx $215,000 US dollars. (over$300,000AUS ) So your pretty lucky there.
I'll be in the USA next month and I'll look around for the rims.
thanks

Oh, by the way. I've ordered black on black with dark grey umbra high gloss wood. Its the only one to be delivered for this year. the CLS55 are rare as hens teeth here.
thanks GD

Why aren't you allowed to have 20's?

20" wheels

We have stupid regulations that restrict size/width etc. Basically our law makers think that any modification to standard manufactures specifications is going to turn us all into speeding maniacs and agressive hoons !!
There is no logic at all as to why we cannot modify our cars to make them look better. They just think that better wheels is going to make us race around the streets. I suppose its just their way to raise more money from fines/penalties etc. It really is just so stupid here.
thanks GD

That's stupid, because larger rims are more weight. How could that HELP you in racing?! :p
