Question Hardwire Radar Detector in CLS55

Has anyone hardwired a V1 into a CLS using power from the light panel by the rear view mirror? I had a similar installation in my M5 and it was much better than having to thread wire around to meet the fuse box or cigarette lighter. If so, how difficult was the installation? Instructions?

Thanks!

Glen

I had it done in my CLS55 - looks fantastic and definitely worth it for cosmetic reasons.

Perhaps the wiring is different, but here's an old related thread from the W209 forum.

Perfect . Thanks. I plan to do this next weekend. I'll let everyone know how it goes and will post any helpful installation hints specific to the CLS55.

On my car, I used a trim removal tool (available from any auto parts store) and slid it into the gap around the overhead console. A tiny amount of pressure, and it popped right out.

I doubt it.
Lamborghini Murcies are gods own car. I love them so much.
Seriously.
I bet I'd love Murcies more than my kids.

Are you serious........? How many Lamborghini do they sell vs Ferrari? Ferrari has a history and that's why, the older it get, the more money it worth.

It not any perticular model. It the company itself. If you want to talk about models, does Lamborghini have anything to compete with the F50 when it came out? And now the F60 !!
